The IEEE Open PocketQube Kit is an open-source educational initiative led by the IEEE GRSS society, designed to lower the entry barrier for institutions interested in developing a PocketQube satellite.
This project aims at presenting the details to receive images from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) satellites, which publicly transmit this information. The different documents that compose this project presents describe the necessary equipment, and the corresponding instructions to achieve this goal.

During 7 days, students from several countries arround the world have developed a PocketQube, going from concept and design, to implementation and validation.
